Considering that modern design is not limited to technical functionality but becomes a symphony of stimuli triggering various senses and working harmoniously together, I decided to look into this complex relationship. 

My work has resulted in the interior design of a restaurant in the Zodiak Pavilion and “A Dictionary of Senses” that explicates the idea of sensory perception. The main theoretical basis of the work were such design approaches as synaesthetic architecture, multi-sensory architecture, and sensory design. 

• The surroundings and mental well-being. Are we aware of the responsibility of an interior designer in this field? 
• What are the reasons for and effects of ocularcentrism?
• How does interior design affect us on a conscious and subconscious level?
• The interior design process – are visualisations enough?

These are some of the many questions that urged me to work on my degree pieces.
