The labyrinth of senses is a study of space under stood as the interaction of planes, colour, materials and reflections in space that puts our senses and experience to the test. In order to gain such kind of sensual experience, I had to broaden my knowledge, from the history of space to its perception. The results of this research include eight interactive artistic installations, the gate and markings placed in the Józef Piłsudski Pole Mokotowskie park complex. Their form and functioning were inspired by the idea of a labyrinth. The layout of the installation is not accidental – its aim is to encourage strollers to step off the main path for a while, thereby forcing them to adapt to new surroundings. For the needs of the design, I carefully selected the materials whose texture and surface invite us to touch them. I wanted to create a space accessible to everyone, where participation has no single planned result. It is an attempt to “create a relationship” between the space and us, with an educational and recreational function.
