Born in 1998. Studies: Faculty of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (2018–2023). He creates classical figurative wooden and stone sculpture and bronze castings.
The title of the project is “The Meeting” and it is the key for its interpretation, because it is not only about the relations within the composition, but also the viewers’ individual insights into the situation they are invited to.
One of the three spots is seemingly empty, and it is a place for the interpretation of the idea of the Absolute, as well as a space for pondering the perception of the spiritual world.
The characters are presented half-nude and with no attributes, so that the general impression is as neutral as possible. The goal was to create a space for contemplation and analysis of one’s own spirituality.
The work on the minor degree has been particularly challenging in terms of handling the material – marble – and making a classical figurative sculpture out of it. My aim was to put the viewer in a state of bliss and tranquillity. The work is also symbolic, but I leave it to everyone’s own interpretation.
