My project topic was inspired by an image – a memory of typical urban landscaping from the Polish People’s Republic period, made of aggregate. The image comprises multiple forms of concrete flowerbeds, as well as my initial memory of bear bins from the town of Żarki-Letnisko.
The starting point for the topic was also salvaging two flowerpots from outside the former building of the Polish Optical Works in Warsaw. The flowerpots made their way to my garden near the Sculpture Park in the Xawery Dunikowski Museum in the Królikarnia, whose atmosphere I intended to recreate by incorporating sculptural furniture designed by myself into the space.

The painting series called “My Memory Films” includes still lifes presenting everyday objects, such as cutlery, glasses, or a drafting curve. Seemingly mundane objects carry a baggage of memories, family stories, which I recall in my thesis called “Memory of an Object”.
