Born 1998. Studies: Faculty of Interior Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (bachelor’s degree 2017–2020, master’s degree 2021–2024). Scholarship of the Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts (2021/2022). Fields of artistic activity: product design, film set design, theatre stage design, exhibition design, interior design, ceramics. She completed internships in the Warsaw architectural studios – Nizio Design and TŁO. She is active as a freelance designer.
The decision to create a furniture system stemmed from my fascination with the creative process—from the first sketches of an object to working with the target material in real scale. Searching for a form of furniture that would be created from many repetitive elements connected by a hidden adhesive bond, I thought of the organic form observed in nature. Tissue is a structure found in organisms that connects single cells. Their structure is an endless visual source of inspiration. The BAST furniture set consists of mobile, lightweight modular elements. The parts can be combined both into small pieces of furniture and large-scale forms designed for public spaces.
