Description
In the modern world, we spend most of our time in interiors and, therefore, it is crucial to understand how they can affect our well-being. This allows us to see that interior design should not only be based on providing an aesthetic experience, but should engage the user on many levels. The Przyjaźń [Friendship] support centre shows that appropriately designed interiors can also help people recover from illness. Wanting to harness the healing potential of architecture, I incorporated principles backed up by scientific knowledge into the design. In this way, I created an environment that promotes well-being, e.g. by stimulating the senses, getting in touch with nature and restoring existential values.
