CUDDLE is an attempt to establish the sense of touch as the starting point for designing a piece of furniture. The motif of hugging is a response to sensory overstimulation and chronic stress, as well as the need for closeness that exists in every human being. An addition to the design is a weighted cushion, the pressure of which allows the muscles to relax.
